PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste heat recovery device capable of efficiently recovering waste heat via an expander and capable of warming up an engine at an early stage. SOLUTION: The waste heat recovery device 1 is formed inside of an engine body 2, and is provided with a circulation channel 6 of cooling water which becomes steam by waste heat of the engine, a turbine 3 operated by steam generated by waste heat and recovering waste heat, a first open close valve 4 controlling flow-in of stem into the turbine 3 according to a steam condition in an upstream of the turbine 3, and a second open close valve 5 limiting circulation of cooling water in the circulation channel 6 in cold start of the engine.
