PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can block the continuation of the fraudulence committed to acquire game media by illegally working the storage memory of virtual game media. SOLUTION: A slot machine is provided with the main controller 131 for administratively managing games. The main controller 131 detects the dropping of tokens from detection signals from dropped token detection sensors 86a and 86b. A RAM 153 of the main controller 131 is provided with a virtual token memory area 153a and functions to store the dropped tokens as virtual tokens. With such an arrangement, the RAM 153 is provided with a monitoring timer counter 153b and a discharge control counter 153c. This enables the determination of the frequency of discharge control within a prescribed period, and an abnormality processing is executed when the frequency of discharge control reaches a reference value.
