PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aid for horizontal bar exercise which facilitates the carrying and use of it with a simple structure. SOLUTION: One end of one flat belt 2 is looped and a loop formation member 4 allowed to be wound on the horizontal bar is arranged on its one end side. The loop formation member 4 is mounted at one end of the belt 2 and is a metal fixture 6 which enables the passing of the belt 2 itself through it. A pair of surface fastener members 14 and 16 sticking to each other is so arranged on the other end side of the belt 2 as to be allowed to be wound on the horizontal bar by forming the belt 2 into a loop while making the lengths of the surface fastener members 14 and 16 paired different from each other along the length of the belt 2. When the aid is put on the backside of a user to support him on the horizontal bar, the sticking positions of the surface fastener members are adjusted, thereby allowing the adjustment of the length of the aid.
