A white light-emitting OLED device having a spaced anode and cathode and comprising: a blue light-emitting layer disposed between the anode and cathode; a green light-emitting layer in contact with the blue light-emitting layer; a red light-emitting layer in contact with either the blue light-emitting layer or the green light-emitting layer; and an electron-transporting layer disposed between the light-emitting layers and the cathode, wherein the red light-emitting layer, green light-emitting layer, blue light-emitting layer, and the electron-transporting layer each include an independently selected anthracene compound.
