<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect polarity connection error between a motor and power supply line soon after the start-up of a motor and errors such as reverse connection of the motor both during operating and releasing a parking brake. <P>SOLUTION: When output voltage Vs from a load sensor 15 is not output or shows a releasing characteristic in Step S31, the system moves to Step S37 so as to determine whether or not drive current A of the motor 11 shows characteristic for operation. When the characteristic of the drive current A of the motor 11 is not in an operating state, the system moves to Step S41 so as to determine whether the characteristic of the drive current A of the motor 11 is in a releasing state, that is, to determine the rotation of the motor 11 is reversed. When the rotation of the motor 11 is reversed, the connection of the motor 11 with the power supply line is determined to be a polarity error to move to S42. After that, the system stops the motor 11 and turns on a warning lamp 6 to prohibit the reception of an operation instruction signal and release instruction signal from an operation switch 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
