<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system which is applicable to an office environment where a number of network devices are connected to a network, wherein the network device specified in an application can be quickly identified. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a printing system 100 to which a plurality of image forming devices 20A, 20B, etc. are connected to a client PC 10 via the network 30. In the printing system 100, the image forming devices 20A, 20B, etc. are provided with light emitting sections 270A, 270B, etc., respectively, which are controlled to be turned on/off by the client PC 10.
