<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a structure which ensures high impedance of an insulation coating film and also sufficiently ensures insulation performance of the insulation coating film at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A fitting surface part 12 and a pair of non-fitting surface parts 13, 13 are provided on an outer peripheral surface 6 of an outer ring 3, i.e., a covering bearing ring. The fitting surface part 12 out of these is provided on an intermediate part in an axial direction of the outer peripheral surface 6 and is brought into contact with an inner peripheral surface 10 of a housing 9 through the insulation coating film 8a. The respective non-fitting surface parts 13, 13 are provided on portions close to both ends in an axial direction of the outer peripheral surface 6, are inclined in a direction where an outer diameter dimension becomes small as it separates from the fitting surface part 12, and are not brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface 10. A border position between the fitting surface part 12 and the respective non-fitting surface parts 13, 13, is determined with the raceway track width of an outer ring raceway track 4 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring 3 as a reference.
