<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel wherein color shift is hardly generated even when being viewed from all azimuthal directions and a polar angle direction. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal panel 1 provided with a liquid crystal cell 2, a first polarizer 31 provided on one surface side of the liquid crystal cell 2, a second polarizer 41 provided on the other surface side of the liquid crystal cell 2 and first and second optical compensation layers 5 and 6 provided between the first and the second polarizers 31 and 41, the liquid crystal cell 2 satisfies a relation of 0.8<Re[450]/Re[550]<1, the first optical compensation layer 5 has an Nz coefficient of 0.8 to 1.4 and satisfies a relation of 0.8<Re[450]/Re[550]<1 and the second optical compensation layer 6 satisfies relations of nx=ny>nz and 0.98<Re[450]/Re[550]<1.04. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
