PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication receiver capable of fixing a time for processing of decoding operation. SOLUTION: The radio communication receiver comprises: an initialization part 501 for taking a first step to obtain a tentative solution from a transmission path estimation value and a received signal; a solution candidate calculation part 502 for taking a second step to obtain a solution candidate every dimension that exists inside a search area around the tentative solution; a solution candidate selection part 503 for taking a third step to delete a solution candidate where an accumulation distance is long when the number of solution candidates exceeds the designated number of resources; a distance calculation part 504 for taking a fourth step to obtain a partial distance every dimension between the temporal solution and the solution candidate and an accumulated distance of the partial distances obtained; and a distance comparison part 505 for comparing lengths of the accumulated distances to obtain a solution candidate of a smaller accumulated distance and controlling the solution candidate calculation part, the solution candidate selection part, and the distance calculation part so as to take the second to fourth steps every dimensional number of a grid code.
