PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an organic titanium type coating agent soluble in water and in an organic solvent, being transparent, superior in weatherability and the resistance to staining. SOLUTION: The organic titanium type coating agent is the one in which an organic compound binds to a titanium atom. The organic compound is selected from an acetylenic hydrocarbon with an amino acid or the like and a triple bond, a phosphorene type compound and a multiple amine type compound, a hydrocarbon with a plurality of unsaturated bonds and a multiple amine, a multiple amine with a plurality of double bonds and a hydrocarbon with a plurality of double bonds.
