PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a small particle diameter toner having a sharp particle size distribution without requiring a classification step, and to provide the toner or a two-component developer capable of achieving a longer life and preventing void generation and toner spattering in transfer. SOLUTION: The toner comprises a core particle formed by aggregating at least first resin particles, colorant particles and first wax particles in an aqueous medium, and a second resin particle and second wax particle fused layer, on a surface of the core particle, formed by fusing second resin particles different from the first resin particles and second wax particles different from the first wax particles.
