<p>A commercial greenhouse incorporates an inflatable, quilted foil insulation mat. The insulation rests against the inner face of the roof and greenhouse sidewalls. The foil mat is stored wound airtight onto a rotating tube, parallel to and under the greenhouse roof truss. The other end of the foil hose is clamped airtight to a profiled rail. The shaft with the wound-on foil moves from one truss to the next and unwinds the foil, which is simultaneously inflated to form a stable insulating cushion, supported by atlas wire. The cushion deployment process is regulated by prior art. During rope-operated retraction, air escapes via valves.</p> |
