The roof load carrier module (10) has a holding device (18) for coupling the roof load. A coupling element receiver is formed at the holding device for a coupling element (24,26), which engages at a roof railing support (28). The holding device has a quick-coupling receiver (20) for a coupling base of a roof clamp. The coupling element receiver has two passage openings arranged at distance to each other for shoulder bolts provided as coupling elements at the roof railing support engaged in the threaded holes. An independent claim is also included for a method for the assembly of a roof load carrier module.
