LINE QUALITY MONITORING METHOD AND ITS CIRCUIT

In a digital wireless communication device having an error correction function, line quality is quickly detected while maintaining accuracy. Carrier-to-noise power ratio (C/N) information, in which the C/N of a received signal is sued as a measure, is converted into an error pulse form to generate a C/N error pulse, on the basis of which line quality is monitored. The line quality, the degree of which is such that a bit error rate (BER) is slightly degraded (10^-10 to 10^-12), is quickly detected while maintaining accuracy.
