A spring compression type automatic fire extinguisher is provided to have little risk of malfunction because no abrasion phenomenon of an erupting portion of a fire extinguishing liquid occurs. A spring compression type automatic fire extinguisher includes a body(20), a piston(30), a check nipple and a driving device(50). The body is formed by coupling covers(22) to the upper and lower ends of a cylinder with long bolts(25). The piston is airtightly received inside the body to be capable of moving motion. One side of the piston is elastically supported by interposing a rotary shaft(48). The check nipple is installed from one end of the body in the motion direction of the piston, and opens a channel at a set up pressure. The driving device is installed on the opposite side of the check nipple from the other end of the body.
