[PROBLEMS] To flexibly modify the web server configuration. [MEANS FOR SO LVING PROBLEMS] Provided is a web server including: a storage unit for stori ng a session state; a reception unit for receiving the session state from a terminal device while correlating the session state to a first HTTP request; an accumulation unit for accumulating the received session state in a stora ge region which is accessed as an HTTP session object by a processing progra m which performs a process in accordance with the received first HTTP reques t; an access unit which accesses the accumulated session state in accordance with execution of an access command in aprocessing program; and a response unit which reads out a session state from the storage unit in accordance wit h execution of a response command in the processing program, sets it in a fi rst HTTP response, as a parameter to be transmitted by a terminal device whi le being correlated with a second HTTP request, and returns the set first HT TP response to the terminal device.
