<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an attachment structure of a supporting shaft which can suppress the occurrence of a backlash in the supporting shaft, while suppressing the number of parts from being increased. <P>SOLUTION: The sublimation printer 60 (image forming apparatus) is provided with the supporting shaft 30 which is arranged between a side plate 14 and a motor bracket 15 and rotatably supports an intermediate gear 22. One end of the supporting shaft 30 is fixedly attached to the motor bracket 15 and the other end of the supporting shaft 30 includes a side end surface portion (chamfered portion 30b) caused to abut on the bearing portion 14a of the side plate 14 in a linear contact manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
