<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which the dew condensation generated on a surface of a photoreceptor drum can be effectively prevented or eliminated with less electric power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 reconveys a plurality of times the paper sheet having passed through a fixing device 20 to an image forming section 40 by using a double-sided conveyance path 72 used for double-sided printing and thereby a double-sided refresh mode is achieved in which the moisture on the photoreceptor drum 41 is evaporated. A control means 90 determines whether or not the double-sided refresh mode is needed on the basis of the temperature inside the apparatus detected by an inner temperature sensor 97 and the humidity outside the apparatus detected by an outer humidity sensor 98. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
