<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture removal mechanism for transporting deposited moisture from a flow field channel to an outlet of a fuel cell stack. <P>SOLUTION: A bipolar plate for a fuel cell equipped with a first unipolar plate having an active surface with a plurality of flow field channels formed inside, is disclosed. The first unipolar plate includes an inlet header arranged at a first end part of the unipolar plate communicated to the active surface, and further, an outlet header arranged at a second end part of the unipolar plate having an exhausted opening formed through above the inlet header. A peripheral part of the exhausted opening is put under a chamfering process, and at the same time, is communicated to the active surface. The chamfered exhausted opening forms moisture removal channels on the bipolar plate. And also, the fuel cell stack equipped with the bipolar plate is disclosed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
