<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure detector of an AD converter having only one input channel for inputting an analog signal. <P>SOLUTION: The failure detector includes a DA output switcher 20 for directly connecting an output channel of a DA converter 12 to an input channel of an AD converter 8 when a digital value for confirmation is input from a microcomputer 10 into the DA converter 12. When the output channel of the DA converter 12 is connected to the input channel of the AD converter 8, the digital value for confirmation is compared with a digital value converted by the AD converter 8, whereby a failure of the AD converter 8 is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
