<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method and a recovery apparatus for efficiently recovering a water-soluble solvent of low concentration in exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: The recovery apparatus 100 of the water-soluble solvent is provided with a mist former 10 forming misty water droplets 12 for absorbing the water-soluble solvent in exhaust gas 11a, and a gas cooler 20 cooling solvent absorbing mist 13 obtained by bringing the water-soluble solvent into contact with the water droplets 12 formed in the mist former 10 for absorbing.
