PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component housing structure capable of realizing thinning of a battery storage part of electronic equipment, and the electronic equipment comprising the structure. SOLUTION: In a battery pack housing structure, a comparatively thin sheet-like member such as polycarbonate is used for a battery housing part, and since for example, a battery receiving base 7 molded into a box shape by vacuum molding is formed by being fitted into a frame-like part 8 formed in the rear case 4 and the thickness of the bottom surface part 15 is reduced to that of the sheet-like member, the thinning of the battery housing part is realized.
