PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor equipped with a compression device and a driving motor coupled with the compression device. SOLUTION: The driving motor is provided which has a stator equipped with a stator coil composed of an aluminum wire and an insulating layer disposed on the outer surface of the aluminum wire, and the aluminum wire is made to have a diameter of about 0.4 to 1.2 mm.
