PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device capable of accurately recognizing an amount of pedal depressing without giving a sense of incongruity to an operator. SOLUTION: In the pedal device 10 which makes the operator recognize an amount of depressing of a pedal 11 swinging around a shaft 17B (first swinging shaft), the pedal device 10 has a displacement mechanism which makes a pedal depressing surface 12 displace in the axial direction of the shaft 17B in response to the amount of depressing of the pedal 11.
