PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved base isolation supporting device so superior in versatility as to be used with specifications with all directionality suitable to buildings such as a non-dwelling building and an apartment building, in spite of basic specifications with directionality suitable to a bridge. SOLUTION: The base isolation supporting device comprises a base isolation means 20 mounted vertically between an upper structure B and a lower structure C for base isolation while permitting the rolling of the upper structure B relative to the lower structure C. The base isolation means 20 has soft elasticity in a specified direction such as a horizontal direction and hard elasticity in a direction of intersecting the specified direction.
