PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine control device actualizing control with a great stability margin and high robustness. SOLUTION: An ECU 2 of the control device 1 for an internal combustion engine 3 estimates an estimated value KACT_EST for a detected air-fuel ratio KACT from a model [Expression 2] defining a relationship between itself and an air-fuel ratio dispersion coefficientΦ<SB>i</SB>and a plurality of simulation values KACT_OS<SB>i</SB>, identifies the air-fuel dispersion coefficientΦ<SB>i</SB>so that the estimated value KACT_EST corresponds to the detected air-fuel ratio KACT (Step 8), calculates an air-fuel ratio dispersion correcting coefficient KOBSV<SB>i</SB>for every cylinder depending on the identified air-fuel ratio dispersion coefficientΦ<SB>i</SB>(Step 9), calculates a learning correction value KOBSV_LS<SB>i</SB>for the air-fuel ratio dispersion correcting coefficient for every cylinder (Step 10), and uses the air-fuel ratio dispersion correcting coefficient KOBSV<SB>i</SB>and the learning correction value KOBSV_LS<SB>i</SB>for correcting a basic fuel injection amount TIBS to calculate a final fuel injection amount TOUT<SB>i</SB>for every cylinder (Steps 11, 12).
