PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member capable of stabilizing injection characteristics by inhibiting influence on a sliding part when the fuel injection valve is clamped on an installed part by a clamping member, and a fuel injection valve using the same. SOLUTION: The fixing member 90 is used for the fuel injection valve 1 including a nozzle body 11 inserted in a mounting hole 121 of the installed member 121 and installed by the clamping member 100 and slidably storing a valve member 18 opening and closing an injection hole 16 therein, and a lower body 21 slidably storing a control member 21 controlling open and close operation of the valve member 18 therein, and fixes the nozzle body 11 and the lower body 21 by making the nozzle body 11 and the lower body 21 indirectly or directly butt on each other and applying axial force.
