PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make arrangement of a fixed point by a fixing bolt of a motor at an optimum position against noise and vibration and miniaturization of a housing compatible. SOLUTION: This braking device is provided with two screw holes formed in substantially parallel to a motor rotary shaft in the housing and opened in an end face of the housing and the fixing bolt fastened to the screw holes to fix the motor to the end face of the housing. The projections of the two screw holes in axial directions of the screw holes hold an axial center of a pump hole by overlapping with the pump hole or approaching to the pump hole in a range where they are not overlapped with the axial center of the pump hole, and axial direction depths of the screw holes reaches the pump hole from the viewpoint of the axial direction of the pump hole.
