PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper, fitted to the form of a wearer, including an index for guiding a method of wearing the diaper, and having a favorable external appearance. SOLUTION: A plurality of indexes for stopping a fastening tape 6 are indicated in a right region 7R and a left region 7L of a landing tape 7. The plurality of indexes include a first index 11 located inside of the diaper 1 from a second virtual center line CL2 and a second index 12 located outside of the diaper 1 from the second virtual center line CL2. The first index 11 is inclined so that the second end part 1b side in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1 is closest to the first virtual center line CL1, and the first end part 1a side in the longitudinal direction is most away from the first virtual center line CL1. The second index 12 is inclined so that the second end part 1b side in the longitudinal direction is closest to the side edge 1c in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1, and the first end part 1a side in the longitudinal direction is most away from the side edge 1c in the longitudinal direction.
