<p>A golf club head excellent in versatility and handling property which can apply back spin (reverse rotation) or top spin easily to a ball by reducing a head speed conveniently by a sole shape or by regulating the center-of-gravity balance between the longitudinal axis and lateral axis of the head optimally according to the personality of a player, can control the ball easily, and can be used in a wide range of applications from a short club or patting on a short distance or fast green to a long club or an iron club. The sole of the head body has a flat portion and a portion provided with a plurality of protrusions and recesses intersecting mutually, and a balance regulation portion to which a weight and/or a spacer is attached removably is provided on the back face side of the head body.</p> |
