RNA, ATTENUATED VIRUS OF TOMATO SPOTTED WILT VIRUS USING THE SAME RNA, TOMATO SPOTTED WILT VIRUS-RESISTANT PLANT INOCULATED WITH THE SAME ATTENUATED VIRUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TOMATO SPOTTED WILT VIRUS IN PLANT OF FAMILY COMPOSITAE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attenuated virus of a TSWV (tomato spotted wilt virus) characterized by hardly observing or not observing viral symptoms of a plant at all without being propagated with a mediating insect thrips and facilitating culture tending of a plant of the family Compositae even when inoculated into the plant of the family Compositae.

SOLUTION: This RNA comprises a base sequence described in sequence number 1 for obtaining a TSWV-resistant plant. The attenuated virus of the TSWV uses the RNA. A TSWV-resistant plant is obtained by previously inoculating the attenuated virus of the TSWV containing the RNA into a seedling of the plant. Furthermore, the TSWV in the plant of the family Compositae is controlled.
