<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication controlled sales system for selling age-restricted articles through communication control from a remote site. <P>SOLUTION: In the system, an article exchange booth includes at least: an article exchanger for handling over the age-restricted articles; a first detection unit for detecting an entrance and an exit of a visitor to and from the booth; an imaging device; and a control device. After the first detection unit detects the entrance of the visitor to the booth, the control device transmits images photographed by the imaging device to a centralized sales center, after the center performs age checking, when receiving a change instruction from a standby state into an operation state of the exchanger from the center, the control device allows the visitor to purchase the age-restricted articles by changing the exchanger from the standby state into the operation state, and when the first detection unit detects the exit of the visitor from the booth, changes the exchanger from the operation state into the standby state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
