摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of restraining break or collapse of an alloy layer caused by expansion and contraction of its volume accompanying storage and release of lithium ion. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 10 is provided with an anode can 16. The anode can 16, of a double-layer structure of a stainless steel layer 21 and an aluminum layer 22, in which, the aluminum layer 22 and a lithium foil 15 get crimped and in contact with electrolyte solution to have a lithium-aluminum alloy layer formed. At a bottom face 16b of the anode can 16, concave parts 23 are formed. An inner side face of each concave part 23 is of a semi-circular curved surface, and is so structured to eliminate a continuous part where stress is concentrated at its inside.
