<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge, or the like, which eliminates the need for the retraction of the output coupling of a main assembly of an image forming apparatus for transmitting a driving force to a developing roller, when mounting the process cartridge, by making it enter the main assembly and further move in a direction of crossing the entering direction. <P>SOLUTION: The process cartridge has the developing roller 25 and an Oldham coupling 48 which is provided at one axial end of the developing roller. The driving-side engaging portion 48c of the Oldham coupling 48 is energized in a direction of crossing with the axial line of the developing roller and is positioned to a holding portion 27f when the process cartridge 7 enters the main assembly, and the movement of the driving side engaging portion 48c, in the crossing direction, is regulated by a main assembly locking member 85, when a movable member 84 is to move from a first position to a second position, in order to position the process cartridge 7 in the main assembly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
