<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode for a lithium battery increasing the mix density and energy density of an electrode by using a binder having high binding force and high elasticity, holding the structure of the electrode for a long time, and enhancing life characteristics of the electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The anode for the lithium battery contains an anode active material and a binder including a water-dispersible methacrylate-based polymer and a water soluble polymer, and the anode active materials are bound in a point-binding way with the binder entered between the anode active materials. The anode does not generate spring-back phenomenon in the manufacturing process of the electrode by use of the binder having high binding force and high elasticity. The mix density of the electrode is increased, the anode having high capacity and high energy density can be manufactured. Since the anode can hold the structure of the electrode even in charge discharge for a long time, life characteristics can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
