<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a station device capable of effectively using an RPR (Resilient Packet Ring) network band, and to provide a frame transferring method. <P>SOLUTION: The station device 110 nests Ethernet frames with one another to a remote station device under the supervision of a common station device on the basis of the transmission destination address of the Ethernet frames and a correspondence relation in a table 170 by storing the table 170 obtained by associating the MAC (Media Access Control) address of a station device 150 with the MAC addresses of remote station devices 150a to 150d to store them when converting the received Ethernet frames into RPR frames. When an RPR frame 190 nested by the station device 110 is transferred from a station device 160, the station device 150 extracts unnested Ethernet frames 180a to 180c from the RPR frame 190 and transmits the unnested Ethernet frames to the remote station devices 150a to 150d corresponding to respective transmission destination addresses. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
