PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque rod 1 comprising an engine side mounting portion 4 at one end of a rod portion 2 and a vehicle body side mounting portion 8 at the other end, having improved vibration absorbing performance irrespective of whether a change in the posture of an engine is big or small while avoiding the wrenching of the rod portion 2. SOLUTION: In the engine side mounting portion 4, a relatively low resilience elastic body 7 is provided between an outer cylinder 5 and an inner cylinder 6. In the rod portion 2, a relatively high resilience elastic body 3 is provided partially in the longitudinal direction. The rod portion 2 has an engine side rod 2a connected to the engine side mounting portion 4 and a vehicle body side rod 2b connected to the vehicle body side mounting portion 8 both of which are coaxially arranged, and the elastic body 3 mounted between both the rods 2a, 2b.
