PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a newly photographed image during the reproduction of an image. SOLUTION: When a predetermined image is photographed while an image P<SB>3</SB>recorded on a memory card 24 is reproduced in a reproduction mode, the photographed image is overwritten in a region where the image P<SB>3</SB>reproduced at present is recorded from an address A<SB>3</SB>thereof. When a predetermined image is photographed by setting a recording mode, on the other hand, the photographed image is additionally written in a non-recorded region where no image is recorded of the memory card 24 from an address A<SB>M</SB>thereof.
