摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage unit capable of sucking and discharging a heat exchange medium at a position separating from a boundary surface with a heat storage material, regardless of variation of a liquid level of a layer of a heat exchange medium in accompany with phase transformation of the heat storage material. SOLUTION: This heat storage unit comprises the heat storage material 2 for heat storage by latent-heat heat storage, a heat storage container 3 receiving the prescribed amount of heat storage material 2, supply pipes 5, 5 for supplying the heat exchange medium 4 of a specific gravity smaller than that of the heat storage material 2 from the outside of the heat storage container 3 into the heat storage material 2, and a discharge portion 6 for discharging the heat exchange medium 4 forming the layer on an upper side of the heat storage material 2 in the heat storage container 3, from the inside to the outside of the heat storage container 3 by the difference in specific gravities. The discharge portion 6 has a discharge opening 13 positioned in the layer of the heat exchange medium 4, and comprises a liquid level following mechanism (flexible pipe 9, floating member 11) for allowing the discharge opening 13 to follow the variation of liquid level of the layer of the heat exchange medium 4.
