PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration detecting apparatus having excellent stability of sensitivity to temperature. SOLUTION: The acceleration detecting apparatus is provided with an OSC 2 provided with a first tuning-fork type crystal oscillation element 20a as a resonator for outputting reference signals; a VCXO 7 provided with a second tuning-fork-type crystal oscillation element 20b as a resonator; a phase comparison circuit 3 for comparing the phases of output signals outputted from the VCXO 7 and reference signals, outputted from the OSC 2 with each other, an LPF 4 for extracting a low-region component of phase difference signals outputted from the phase comparison circuit 3; and a high-gain amplifying circuit 5 for amplifying output signals of the LPF 4. The first and second tuning-fork type crystal oscillation elements 20a and 20b are arranged, in such a way that their directions of acceleration detection axes for acceleration detection coincide with each other and that their directions of detection of acceleration to be detected at the first and second tuning-fork-type crystal oscillation elements 20a and 20b are oriented in the opposite directions, and the output signals outputted from the LPF 4 are outputted as acceleration detection signals Sαand fed back to the VCXO 7 as control voltage.
