PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the smoothness of pushing-in movement of a washing tank from being encumbered by the friction of the centering (adjustment of position in right and left directions) by having the centering of a cover body against the washing tank conducted at a final stage of the movement closing the cover by pushing-in stroke of the washing tank. SOLUTION: A drawing type dishwasher is provided with a washing tank which is supported in a way that it can be taken out and put in freely from a dishwasher body through a rail and a cover body equipped with a packing at the bottom surface which is supported in a liftable manner by the dishwasher body and can be closed by the cover body by moving down the cover body in connection with the pushing-in movement of the washing tank. Cam concave sections are provided on both sides in front or at the back of the bottom surface of the cover body and cam convex sections are provided on both sides in front or at the back of the top surface of the washing tank. The cam concave sections and the cam convex sections are provided with cam surfaces which move the cover body in right and left directions against the top edge of the washing tank by fitting in the cam concave and cam convex sections when the cover body moves down.
