PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste oil combustion apparatus and combustion method attaining efficient recycling of waste oil and reproduction of new fuel, reducing a drop in a flame temperature and the formation of noxious substance such as dioxin, and dispensing with addition of an additive. SOLUTION: Waste oil supplied into a combustion part where waste oil is burned, is branched in two. One of the branched waste oil, i.e., the pressurized waste oil, is taken in from one end side of a spiral pipe disposed winding along the outer peripheral part of the cylindrical combustion part, and jetted from the other end side of the spiral pipe. The other of the branched waste oil passes through a heating pipe provided adjoining the cylindrical combustion part, and is heated with heat blasted from the combustion part. The waste oil output from the heating pipe is input into a filtration tank with a filtration material disposed to filter impurities.
