<p>The invention relates to a displacement screw compressor, which is especially adapted for use as a super charger for an internal combustion engine. The manufacturing of this type of screw rotor machines is complicated and needs different tools for the different rotors. A considerable simplification with retained positive properties of the screw rotor machines as compared to e.g. rotor machines of so called Roots-type has been obtained by the invention. This is obtained by the rotor bores (5,6) having equal diameters and the rotors (11,12) having identically equal shape and a symmetrical profile with identically uniform cross sections.</p> |
