<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data-receiving apparatus and a data receiving method, capable of shortening the period, from the start of receiving a data signal up to a reception of a head data signal of the data signal which is transmitted at a fixed time interval, and suppressing its power consumption associated with reception. <P>SOLUTION: The data-receiving apparatus comprises, as functional blocks, a data signal receiving section 10 for receiving the data signal that is encoded and transmitted at a fixed time interval; a data signal processing means 11 for demodulating the received data signal by applying a prescribed signal processing thereto; a head data signal detecting section 12 for detecting the head data signal which heads the data signal, from the demodulated data signal; a time measuring section 20 for measuring the elapsed time, after detecting the head data signal by using a first timekeeper means 20a; and a reception control means 22 for controlling the reception of the data signal, based on the measured elapsed time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
