<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound generating device capable of editing a musical tone data including a plurality of element data for specifying a plurality of element sounds, wherein sounding is controlled by relating two or more different element sounds to each other. <P>SOLUTION: In a synthesizer, for each plurality of element data for composing a voice data, it is made possible to set a range of a note number in which corresponding element sound is to be sounded, and a sounding type of legato/non-legato sound. According to generation of a note on event, the element data which is the sounding type according to whether or not, a note on state of element sound which is previously started to generate is continuing (s59), and which is within a range that the note number of the generated note on event is to sound (s52, s53 and s58), is determined as the element data used for generating new element sound, and the element sound of a musical sound characteristic which the element data indicates is generated (s54, s55, s60 and s61). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
