PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestrian protection device for a vehicle in which an increase in air resistance due to mutual interference between air blown from a discharge hole and air horizontally flowing under the vehicle can be prevented or restricted. SOLUTION: At a lower part of the front surface of the vehicle, a recessed part 26 formed on the upper surface of a plate 12 installed to extend in the forward-rearward direction of the vehicle is formed to be positioned at a vehicle front side of a radiator. The recessed part 26 is formed to comprise a non-horizontal inner bottom surface 38 extended with an inclination or a curvature in such a way as to gradually increase its depth rearward of the vehicle, and the discharge hole 24 formed at a vehicle rear side of the bottom surface.
