PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system in which even the living room master unit of other dwelling unit is informed that a home abnormality sensor operated using the Internet, and home crime prevention can be set externally without losing security. SOLUTION: A server 5 installed on the Internet network 4 is provided with a connection information storage section for storing the connection permission information between living room master units 2. The living room master unit 2 is provided with a master unit CPU for controlling the warning by receiving operation of an abnormality sensor 3 and transmitting an abnormality occurrence signal to the server, and a button for setting crime prevention of other living room master unit 2 remotely. The server 5 receives the abnormality occurrence signal and transmits that signal to a living room master unit 2 associated with a source master unit at the connection information storage section, and transmits the crime prevention setting signal when it is received by connecting the set object master unit and the source master unit if connection thereof is permitted at the connection information storage section.
