PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image retrieval device and an image retrieval system having a light load to an operator and capable of rapidly retrieving an imaged part of a photographed object whose position can be specified. SOLUTION: Image data 1 is composed of image raw data 5 which is a time series set of image frames, and image attribute data 6 including imaging range data 10 showing an imaging range of each image frame. In an image retrieval section 3, an input means 7 accepts a retrieval request including position data of the photographed object and a position relationship between the photographed object and the imaging range, and a retrieval processing means 8 calculates a mutual position relationship from the position data and the imaging range data in the image storage section 2, and determines the image frame which meets the accepted retrieval request.
