PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical-magnet manufacturing device for manufacturing a cylindrical magnet, in which the crystal direction of magnet powder is well-aligned and a remaining magnetic flux density value for each position on the peripheral face is substantially constant. SOLUTION: The cylindrical-magnet manufacturing device is provided with a columnar iron core 5, a die 4 having a hole into which the iron core 5 is fitted loosely, and electromagnets 3, 3 that are in contact with the die 4 so as to form an oriented magnetic field in the direction parallel to the end face of the iron core 5 through the die 4. Magnet powder 6 is poured into a cylindrical air-gap in between the hole of the die 4 and the iron core 5; the poured magnet powder 6 is pressed, from both end parts of the air-gap so as to form a cylindrical magnet; the die 4 has a cylindrical shape concentric with the iron core 5; each face of the electromagnets 3, 3 contacting with the die 4 has a peripheral-face shape along the outer peripheral face of the die 4; and the device is also provided with a rotating means 7 that makes the die 4 rotate in the circumferential direction.
