PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen preventing deformation such distortion as well as degradation in brightness of an image, and a rear projector equipped with the screen. SOLUTION: The transmission type screen 20 on which an image is projected is equipped with: a lenticular lens sheet 21 having a lenticular lens; a Fresnel lens sheet 22 having a Fresnel lens; and a glass plate 23 holding and straightening the lenticular lens sheet 21 and the Fresnel lens sheet 22. A compound lens sheet 4 obtained by combining the lenticular lens sheet 21 and the Fresnel lens sheet 22, has a side of the glass plate 23 warped outward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
